Sonya and Daddy! Sonya is 3 1/2 weeks old.
Here I am in my "uniform" as Aunie Sarah called it. Meaning that it is the only thing I fit right now! :( :)
Jack is just tickled about something.
All smiles again!
Mom talks to Sonya about sleeping all night and how it's a good thing to do. :)
Peaceful Sonya with a sweet hat from Grandma Cherie and outfit from Uncle Ben and Auntie Mahea.
Be Back Soon!
So did that little pep-talk to Sonya do any good?
ReplyDeleteThat hat from your mom is beautiful. Did she make it?
Such sweet pictures. I have to remember to check back now and again. Great job on the hat, Grandma Cherie :) And I'm sure Sonya thinks your "Uniform" is very cozy. Just as it should be: you look lovely.
ReplyDeleteChristal
Christal- Thanks for the encouragement about my "uniform".
ReplyDeleteLeah- Glad to see you stumbled on my blog somehow. No, the pep talk did not work. I think instead she got the idea that I like to be up at night talking to her. I do enjoy her total alertness and "wide with wonder" eyes that she reserves for just me at night. Very Special :) Hope your starting to feel better!
My mom did not make the hat. Although she does make some amazing things. I'll have to post about these three-tiered skirts that she made my girls sometime. They are very sweet. These hats were at our Farmer's Market this year. My mom purchased hers in Portland at a shop called "Lil' Britches".
Lee, you forgot I said "Mommy uniform"! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see that sweetie this weekend!
Sarah- Thanks for the correction. "Mommy Uniform" it is.
ReplyDeleteI love "Mommy Uniforms"! It helps you take care of your children easier, clean faster, and prepare food easier. Baby permitting of course.
ReplyDeleteA lot of times, when my children were a lot younger like yours, we would make a game out of getting the house in order before Dad came home. We would turn music on and try to clean a room before the song was over. Some rooms took more than one song but that was ok too. We would light candles, turn on certain lights to make everything "homey", and I would get out of my uniform too until next time.
Enjoy your children - they are very sweet.
Crystal
Christal- I like the idea of trying to finish a room before the songs done. Sounds fun and when you're doing things with kids it does help to make a game out of it. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
